Actor Upasana Singh, “Bua” of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, has filed a civil suit against Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu for alleged breach of contract. The suit has been filed in a local court through advocates Karan Sachdeva and Irvan Neet Kaur, claiming Rs 1 crore in damages from the defendant for non-performance of her obligations in terms of agreement between them. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and the crew of comedy film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' attended the screening of the film for SGPC members at the multiplex of Curo Mall here on Wednesday afternoon.SGPC former president Jagir Kaur and experts from Sikh Missionary College and the religious body were in a attendance at the screening of the film. Jagir Kaur said: “We did not find anything objectionable in the film. There were a few minor issues, which our experts' panel will report to the film production team.” The film is set to release on August 11.

Veteran Punjabi singer Balwinder Safri passed away on Tuesday.He was 63. The 'Tu hoor sohniye' singer was admitted to the New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, UK, in April 2022 owing to heart issues. After triple bypass surgeries, the singer went into coma after facing brain damage.
