Diljit Dosanjh ends 10- year partnership with Sonali Singh

Punjabi music icon Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly ended his professional relationship with Sonali Singh, his manager of over ten years. The news, first reported by The Hollywood Reporter India, has taken many in the entertainment industry by surprise.

The split appears to have been abrupt, sparking widespread speculation. Adding to the buzz, Sonali has unfollowed Diljit on Instagram and was notably absent from his appearance at the Met Gala—neither attending the event nor posting about it on social media.

“This has really shocked fans who’ve followed Diljit’s career closely,” a source familiar with the situation said. “No one saw this coming, but it seems the professional relationship between them has hit a rough patch.”

Sonali played a pivotal role in shaping Diljit’s international image. In 2024, her efforts were globally recognised when she was named Billboard’s Global Manager of the Year on the Women in Music list.

Their collaboration began in 2013, when Sonali, then working in marketing, was part of the team behind the album Bhangra Paa Mittra, which featured Diljit as the star artist. From there, their partnership grew, with Diljit often crediting her for her vital role in his journey to global stardom.
