Emergency to release on OTT

Bollywood actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has unveiled the release date for her upcoming film Emergency on OTT. Both directed by and starring Kangana Ranaut, this historical drama delves into the tumultuous life of Indira Gandhi, focusing on her decisions during the repressive years of the Indian Emergency (1975-1977).

Kangana Ranaut shared exciting news on Instagram Stories, announcing that the film will begin streaming on Netflix starting March 17.

Written by Ritesh Shah, Emergency had its theatrical release on January 17, 2025, after several delays and controversies. In the film, Kangana portrays the role of Indira Gandhi, with a notable cast that includes Anupam Kher as socialist leader JP Narayan and Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
