Veteran Punjabi Music Guru Ustad Puran Shah Koti Passes Away at 72

Ustad Puran Shah Koti, a revered figure in Punjabi classical and folk music, passed away today at the age of 72 following a brief illness. He was the father of well-known singer Master Saleem and served as the music mentor for former state singer Hans Raj Hans.
