Farmers protesting at Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana have announced to migrate to Delhi. After the meeting in Chandigarh, farmer leader Jagjit Dallewal said that the farmers will leave for Delhi as soon as the Shambhu border opens.

He said that we will take time only to collect the goods. The Punjab-Haryana High Court had recently asked the Haryana government to open the barricading on Shambhu.

Farmers have camped on the Punjab-Haryana border since February 13. Dallewal said the farmers would move towards the national capital as part of the Walk to Delhi program for various demands including legal guarantee of minimum support price for crops.

Dallewal said that the struggle will continue until their demands are met.

Sidney RCMP are investigating after counterfeit bills were used at a local business, prompting a warning to other shop owners and residents.
