Reports of death threats against Sikhs in the UK are grabbing headlines. A group of British MPs has requested an urgent meeting with the Minister of Defense in this regard.

A report recently emerged that West Midlands Police had issued Osman Warnings in March to three members of a family, meaning their lives were in danger and although there is information but not enough evidence to make an arrest.

According to information, Labour MPs Preet Kaur Gill, Afzal Khan and Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi and some Conservative MPs have written to Union Defense Minister Tom Tugendhat demanding to convene the meeting.

Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi spoke in Parliament on this issue and asked the government what it was doing to ensure the safety and security of British Sikhs.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says he wants Prime Minister Mark Carney to adopt his plan to deal with the country's housing crisis. Poilievre says the Liberals should eliminate the federal sales tax on all homes worth $1.3 million or less and incentivize municipalities to speed up permits and cut development charges.
