Bharat Bhushan Ashu, the Punjab Congress candidate for the Ludhiana West assembly seat, has alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is plotting to send him to jail again ahead of the upcoming by-election. He asserted that they are not going to be afraid.

Ashu stated that he would contest the election even from behind bars if necessary. He said he learned from the media that the government is once again planning to send him to jail.

It is noteworthy that the date for the Ludhiana West by-election has not yet been announced. So far, only the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress have declared their candidates for the seat.
