Jalandhar on high alert, a day after drone strikes, missile strikes in city

A day after the drone strikes, several missile strikes took place in Jalandhar on the intervening night of May 9-10. During this, intermittent explosions were heard, causing panic among the people. People of Kangniwal village near Adampur heard the blast around 1:30 am.

The villagers said that as soon as they came out of their houses, they saw the debris of the missile. A car parked outside the house was damaged and cracks appeared in the water tank of another house. Immediately after the incident, the district administration imposed a blackout at 1:30 am, which continued till 6 am.
