Farmers in Punjab have expressed strong opposition to the visit of U.S. Vice President JD Vance to India. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher accused the Indian government of secretly planning an agreement with the U.S. that could lead to significant losses for the people of India, particularly farmers.
