Decision taken not to provide additional water to Haryana in all-party meeting chaired by Chief Minister

Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, all the parties in the state today unanimously decided not to provide additional water to Haryana and have given the Chief Minister the authority to decide the strategy on this issue. The all-party meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and political leaders also talked about meeting the Prime Minister on this issue.
The Chief Minister said that a decision will be taken to meet the Prime Minister after the special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. He said that the Bhakra Beas Management Board adopted the wrong method to provide additional water to Haryana and Punjabis never tolerate bullying. On this occasion, BJP President Sunil Jakhar said that the state unit of BJP stands with Punjab on this issue.
