Diljit Dosanjh Steps Away from No Entry Sequel Amid Busy Schedule

BY Connect Newsroom, Sep 5, 2025 11:32 AM - REPORT AN ERROR

Reports indicate that Diljit’s packed schedule, especially his Aura Tour across Australia and New Zealand from October 26 to November 13, conflicted with the filming timeline.

The eagerly awaited sequel to the 2005 hit No Entry has encountered a hurdle as actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh has withdrawn from the project. Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film was set to begin production in October 2025, featuring a fresh cast that includes Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. Boney Kapoor confirmed Diljit’s departure, stating, “Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements. Hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together.”

Reports indicate that Diljit’s packed schedule, especially his Aura Tour across Australia and New Zealand from October 26 to November 13, conflicted with the filming timeline. Currently one of the most sought-after figures in both music and film, the actor-singer is managing a series of projects along with his international concert commitments.
