Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film with Diljit Dosanjh has taken a little longer to arrive, but the heart of the story remains unchanged. Originally planned for an April 2026 release, the makers have now locked June 12, 2026 as the new theatrical date.
The yet-untitled film is described as a gentle, emotional tale of love and longing, bringing together an impressive cast including Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari. With A.R. Rahman’s music and Irshad Kamil’s lyrics, the project reunites a creative team known for deeply personal and memorable cinema.
This marks the second collaboration between Imtiaz Ali and Diljit after Amar Singh Chamkila.
