Punjabi music is having a major global moment. Artists like AP Dhillon, Shubh, Karan Aujla, Sukha, and Anuv Jain are pushing Punjabi sounds beyond borders, earning worldwide streams, sold-out shows, and now major industry recognition.

The latest milestone comes as Shubh, AP Dhillon, Sukha and Karan Aujla score nominations for the 2026 TD JUNO Fan Choice Award, placing them alongside global heavyweights like Justin Bieber and The Weeknd. The fan-voted category highlights just how strong international support for Punjabi artists has become.

The 2026 JUNO nominations recently with Bieber leading the pack with six nods, matched by Tate McRae, while The Weeknd earned five. Still, the spotlight on Punjabi artists signals a bigger shift—regional music is no longer niche, it’s global.

From chart-topping hits to viral anthems, Punjabi singers are redefining the global music landscape. The 55th JUNO Awards will take place on March 29 in Hamilton.
