A health scare on the set of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film, *Dhurandhar*, in Leh has raised alarms after over 100 crew members were hospitalized on August 17 due to mass food poisoning. Victims reported severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and headaches, prompting immediate transport to Sajal Narbu Memorial (SNM) Hospital.

While initial speculation pointed to poor food quality and budget cuts, an insider clarified that local authorities confirmed a wider chicken contamination issue in the region, denying any negligence by the production team.

“This film is one of the biggest in production. Cost-cutting is not a concern. The challenging terrain of Leh involves a crew of over 300,” the source stated. They emphasized that health and safety have always been top priorities, and stricter food supplier checks are now being enforced in response to the incident.
