The film explores the deep bond between three brothers, particularly focusing on the experience of one who travels abroad for studies. In a chat with Connect Cine, Jimmy drew a poignant parallel between the film's themes and the journeys of international students in Canada, stating that it will resonate with many and help reignite weakened family ties.

During the interview, Jimmy also opened up about his long-standing search for the perfect script for a sequel to his cult classic, Mel Karra De Rabba. This film had a significant impact on the Punjabi film industry at the time of its release. He shared, “I have been reading and searching for the right story to move forward with a sequel. But trust me, I haven’t found a narrative that warrants making part two just for the sake of it.”

For now, fans of Jimmy Shergill will have to be patient as they await news on the much-anticipated sequel to the beloved romantic and family-oriented film, Mel Karra De Rabba.
