Punjabi actress Mandy Takhar found herself enveloped in nostalgia during her recent trip to Canada for the promotion of her film, Ehnna Nu Rehna Sehna Nai Aunda. Having visited last year for the shooting and release of Vaddha Ghar, the Canadian landscape holds cherished memories for her, especially the unforgettable moments shared with the late Sidhu Moosewala on the film Yes I Am A Student.

While visiting the Connect FM studio in Surrey, Mandy engaged in a lively chat with the staff, expressing her love for Canada and the joy of making new connections. Yet, when reflecting on her film journey, she candidly shared that her essence has remained unchanged since her first role. “I still speak my mind,” she asserted.

In a surprising twist during the conversation, Mandy recounted an encounter with a prominent producer who, when she expressed her eagerness to collaborate, snapped back, “You don’t have to say you want to work with me, Mandy. I know you exist, and we can work when the time comes.” This unexpected response left her heartbroken, revealing the challenges she faces in the industry.

Despite the ups and downs, Mandy’s passion for filmmaking shines through. She relishes the entire creative process and is committed to promoting her projects with enthusiasm. As she continues her journey, Mandy remains a vibrant force in the Punjabi film industry, ready to embrace new stories and experiences.
