Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor’s blockbuster film Animal is preparing to expand its international reach with a release in Japan. After achieving major success in India and overseas in 2023, the action-packed drama will hit Japanese cinemas on February 13, 2026.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal broke several box office records during its initial run. According to sources, the film earned over ₹915 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian releases of recent years. Japanese audiences will now have the opportunity to experience the film on the big screen.

The production company Bhadrakali Films shared a new poster on social media platform X announcing the Japanese release. The ensemble cast includes Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri. Fans previously praised Ranbir Kapoor’s performance and Bobby Deol’s portrayal of the antagonist.

With its international release, the film continues to strengthen Bollywood’s presence in global markets, following a trend of Indian films reaching audiences beyond Asia.
