Recently, Amitabh Bachchan found himself in a tricky situation when he was nearly caught in a stampede in Surat. He was visiting his friend, businessman Sunil Shah, at his home, Casa Rivera, when a large crowd gathered.
Amitabh was in Surat for the opening ceremony of the Indian Street Premier League Season 3, which features former cricketers and film stars.
After arriving at Surat Airport, he went straight to Sunil's house, where the crowd quickly formed. In a shared video, Amitabh can be seen surrounded by excited fans, leading to chaos when the glass entrance gate broke, causing minor injuries to some people. A police team was on site to help manage the situation.
This incident raises questions about fan behavior, especially after recent events where cricketer Virat Kohli was also mobbed. How should fans respect the space of their favorite celebrities?
