Chalamet Wins Big at the Golden Globes

He beat famous actors like Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney to win best actor in a musical or comedy for his film Marty Supreme, a movie about table tennis.

Timothée Chalamet, 30, took an important step in his career by winning a Golden Globe award. He beat famous actors like Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney to win best actor in a musical or comedy for his film Marty Supreme, a movie about table tennis.

Even though DiCaprio did not win best actor, his film One Battle After Another was the biggest winner of the night. It won four awards, including best musical or comedy film and best director.

Irish actress Jessie Buckley won best actress in a drama for Hamnet. The film also surprised many people by winning best drama film.

The vampire movie Sinners was expected to win big, but instead it only won the box office achievement award and best music score.

The awards also celebrate TV shows. British actors Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, and Erin Doherty won awards for their roles in the Netflix drama Adolescence.

Chalamet’s win has helped him stand out in the Oscars race. While accepting his award, he said he was honored to be among many great actors.

This was Chalamet’s fifth time being nominated for a Golden Globe, but his first win. He thanked his father for teaching him to always be thankful.
