The Delhi High Court has served notice to Bollywood star Salman Khan regarding a legal issue involving his personality and publicity rights, following a petition from a China-based AI voice-generation company. Khan is required to respond within four weeks.
This notice stems from a plea to overturn a prior interim order protecting Khan's personality rights, including his name, image, and voice. The next court session is set for February 27.
The current notice addresses a challenge from the AI platform, which specializes in creating voice models, seeking to nullify the earlier order that restricted the use of Khan's likeness and voice.
