Vir Das Wins The Emmy award For Best Comedy series

Indian stand-up comedian Vir Das secured prestigious Emmy award for Best Comedy series during a ceremony held in New York.

This was Vir Das’s second nomination. Vir Das received the Emmy for his Netflix stand-up special, Vir Das: Landing.

Vir Das has expressed his excitement through his social media account where he has said that the moment feels totally surreal to him and this award sets a milestone in Indian comedy.
